$65.00
Sold Out

Listed price includes the making of two mini ornaments per participant.

Finished ornaments will be approximately 2-3” in length

Limited to 5 participants per session

Description: In this two hour flame-working workshop participants will design and assist in the making of their very own glass mini ornaments! Participants will have the option to choose from two different styles, either icicle or twist. No experience is necessary, all skill levels are welcome. Participants can expect to learn basic flame-working techniques. Our instructor will facilitate as much hands on work as possible, allowing one individual to create their glass ornaments at a time. Our very experienced instructor will closely guide you every step of the way, and determine how “hands on” each experience will be. This will vary from individual to individual to ensure the best experience and end product.

What is Flame-working? :

The technique of sculpting objects from rods and tubes of glass that, when heated over a flame, become soft and can be manipulated into the desired shape. Formerly, the source of the flame was an oil or paraffin lamp used in conjunction with foot-powered bellows; today, gas-fueled torches are used.

Please note:
