Private bookings are for groups of 6-10 that would like to create their own glass blowing class from one of the seven workshops we offer. Private bookings make for a truly unique family, friend, or employee party!
If your group has more than 10, please send us am email at info@wyandotteartandglasscenter.com and we will do our best to accommodate your group!
*Please note: The listed price is a DEPOSIT ONLY. Our workshops are priced per participant. Your group will owe a remaining balance at the start of your workshop the day of. The remaining balance amount will depend on your final count of participants, and the workshop your group collectively decides to participate in. We will reach out to you one week before your workshop date to confirm the final head count of participants, and confirm the workshop your group wishes to participate in. Each workshop price is listed below.
Groups may choose to collectively participate in one of the following workshops:
Design Your GLASS PUMPKIN - $110 per participant (min 6- max 10)
Design Your GLASS ORNAMENT- $95 per participant (min 6 - max 10)
Design Your DRINKWARE (Stemless Wine Glass, Rocks, OR Tumbler)- $110 per participant (min 6 - max 10)
Design Your GLASS BOWL- $105 per participant (min 6 - max 10)
Design Your GLASS VASE- $125 per participant (min 6 - max 8)
Design Your GLASS MUG- $135 per participant (min 6 - max 8)
Design Your GLASS FLOWER- $110 per participant (min 6 - max 10)
PLEASE NOTE:
Each participant in your group must participate in creating the same piece. This is because our instructors will go through a 20-30 minute demonstration of the chosen piece at the start of the workshop.
Private bookings MUST consist of the purchase of at least 6 participants to fully book. Depending on the workshop, we will allow 8-10 participants maximum. If your group has more than 10, please send us am email at info@wyandotteartandglasscenter.com and we will do our best to accommodate your group!
Description: In this 2-2.5 hour workshop we will guide you through some very basic glass blowing skills, allowing you to feel what it is like to work with 2100 degree Fahrenheit glass. This class is for all levels and intended to be partially hands on. As a beginner, you will choose your colors and have the option to get a feel for the tools and process by rolling the molten glass on to your chosen colors. From there, instructors will facilitate as much hands on work as possible, allowing one individual to create their glass piece at a time. Our very experienced instructors will closely guide you every step of the way, and determine how “hands on” each experience will be. This will vary from individual to individual to ensure the best experience, and end product.
Participants are more than welcome to bring any food or beverage that they would like. We have an Ice cooler for beverages and a table to set up any food that you wish to bring. This is a private party after all! 🥂

Additional workshop info and FAQ:
IMPORTANT: Once you have purchased a workshop or class please keep an eye out in your email for our Release Form that will be sent to you. Each participant involved in your booking must thoroughly read and fill out our release form prior to attending your first class or workshop. Please provide a printed copy of this form when you arrive at the Art Center. If you do not have access to a printer, we will have additional copies at the Art Center for you to sign.
Unless specified, glass workshops are recommended for ages 14 and older. Those under the age of 18 must turn in a signed parental consent form and have a guardian present during their experience.
Unless specified, glass classes and workshops offered do not require any previous experience or knowledge of glass blowing and are intended for beginners. All skill levels are welcome!
All tools, materials, and finished pieces are provided and included in prices.
All pieces made through workshops will have to go through a process called annealing. The 2100 degree Fahrenheit glass has to be slowly brought down to temperature over a 24 hr period in a controlled temperature kiln. This process assures your glass pieces are structurally sound and will not form cracks during the cooling process. Once properly annealed, your piece will be ready to be picked up the following week after your workshop. We will reach out to each participant to notify them when their piece is ready for pickup. If you live out of sate we will be more than happy to ship your piece to you at the cost of shipping.
If tickets are sold out for this workshop and you would like to be placed on a waitlist please email info@wyandotteartandglasscenter.com. If availability opens for this class we will notify those on the waitlist on a fist reserve first serve basis.
